Punch needle embroidery is the craft or art technique of looping wool yarn, embroidery floss or ribbon through fabric to create a pattern or design. The looping gives the pattern a rug like appearance. Needle punching is used to embroider items, create wall hangings, ornaments, pillows, rugs and other home décor projects.
